TeVISTA Performance Manager is an end-to-end platform-independent network monitoring tool that employs TeVISTA Synthetic User agents to help you to identify problems within critical applications before they occur.

The unique Synthetic User technology takes a user’s perspective to monitoring the performance of IT services by accessing applications in the same way the user does, using the same network, to give ‘no argument’ data on whether the network, server, or application is under performing.

TeVista Synthetic User
TeVISTA Performance Manager provides the Network Manager a true reflection in an unemotional way as to how their Network is actually performing. By deploying TeVista Synthetic User active probes across the network accessing the same services as Users, information relating to response times and availability can be measured, recorded, and reported in a graphical format. This provides a unique view of the network performance from the users perspective and allows the Network Management Team to track and spot problems between user, network, switches, routers, server and application immediately.

Low Spec machine required
The physical specification of the dedicated PC to run the TeVista Synthetic User is minimal allowing older machines with little cost impact to the organisation to be deployed.

View Network Performance
A central management console, allowing reports to be viewed from one location, collates the information gathered by multiple Synthetic Users.

Portal
The central management console is provided to the Network Management Team as a portal thus allowing information to be viewed from any browser equipped device on the network. Additionally users on the network can be provided with different login identities which dictates the access that they are allowed within the system.

Pinpoint source of poor performance
By measuring the responses of network components TeVISTA Performance Manager is able to identify and therefore compare the results of multiple components thereby providing the Network Manger the ability to quickly identify the cause of a “network slowdown”. This has the added benefit of allowing the network team to ensure that valuable IT resource is working on the actual problem and ensure that the “time to fix” is kept to a minimum.

Monitor and report on internal and external SLA
Where the IT department provides services to users/customers and these are governed by Service Level Agreements, TeVISTA Performance Manager is able to provide irrefutable evidence that agreed targets are being attained.
